As a CDL Driver-Residential Extra #7208 in Seattle, Washington, you'll work for Recology King County, carrying out an important role in the local community. Your duty will involve daily pick-up of containers from residential customers. Nicknamed an "Industrial Athlete," you're expected to walk approximately half a marathon each day on route during this rewarding job. Included in your routine, you'll conduct daily safety checks, operate the pick-up vehicle efficiently, ensure all loaded materials meet legal limits and maintain excellent customer relations.

Requirements:
Minimum 6 MONTHS of commercial driving experience.
Understanding of job site safety, potential hazards, and local regulations including applicable waste regulation.
Knowledge of basic computer programs.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Class A OR B Driver's License and Medical Card/Certification.
Physical exertion capacity: consistent lifting, pushing, and pulling of receptacles daily.
Being able to mount and dismount the truck and perform vehicle inspections.
Availability to work nights, weekends and/or holidays, and in all weather extremities.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility.
Effective communication skills with peers, supervisors, and customers.
