Truck Driver CDL Class A Regional

Ryder

Ryder in Portland, ME is looking for a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver to join their team promptly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with apposite federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines while ensuring safety minimizing hazards. The job also entails accurate record keeping and logs. Freight loading/unloading as required by the customer is also part of the job and other assigned duties.

This regional job offers:

  • Weekly Pay for Driver Positions
  • Solo Miles Pay: $0.62 per Mile with 1500-1600 Miles per Week
  • Solo Stops Pay: $21.01 per Stop with 20 Stops per Week
  • Per Diem Pay: $36.36 per night with 2 - 3 nights per Week
  • Sign-On Bonus: Pays you $1750 at 30 days and $1750 at 90 days
  • Paid Training
  • Deliver SOLO to: Northeast Region
  • UNIFORMS, CELL PHONE AND BOOT ALLOWANCE PROVIDED

  • Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 yearsΓ―ΒΏΒ½ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 yearsΓ―ΒΏΒ½ experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
