Job Description

This position is an exciting opportunity for Class A CDL OTR Truck Drivers. This contract-based independent contractor role involves over-the-road (OTR) work predominantly in the Midwest, South, and East. The drivers will be handling assignments that include 50% drop and hook and 50% live loads of dry van freight. Weekly mileage is estimated between 3500-4500 miles, with a pay rate of 0.62-0.65 cents per mile. Payments are made every Wednesday, a week behind, with a pay week running from Monday to Sunday. The work schedule consists of 3 weeks OTR with 4 days at home. Trucks are equipped with a fridge, microwave, inverter, double bunk, and extra storage. An escrow amount of $250 will be deducted weekly for 10 weeks, accounting for $2,500 in total.

Requirements:

Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

A minimum of 2 years of over-the-road (OTR) experience.

A clean driving record with no DUI, SAP, or major violations.

Strong safety, reliability, and communication skills.

Having an LLC/EIN is a requirement since payment is 1099 form.

The terminal location is in Powhatan, VA 23139.
