TeamQRT Group Driving Division OTR - FT

This job opportunity is for an Independent Contractor OTR driver who will be part of our team at Team Driveaway in Charleston, SC. An ideal candidate will work in groups of 3–5 drivers, transporting new school buses across the country and into Canada. This position involves staying with your group from pick-up to drop-off locations and managing the condition of your vehicle throughout the trip. As this is an OTR position, candidates should be prepared for multiple days on the road, with a requirement to take at least 3-5 trips per month to remain active.

• Independent Contractor employment
• Pay ranging from $0.32 - $0.54 per mile
• Flexible scheduling with multiple trips each month
• Long-distance routes across the continental U.S. and into Canada
• Non-forced dispatch and support from a Lead Driver
• Vehicles provided for transport

• Transportation back to High Point, NC after deliveries
• Expenses covered for lodging and fuel while on a load
• Same-day pay if all paperwork is accurate

• Shared hotel accommodations on overnight trips

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR CMV or School Bus driving experience within the last 3 years
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL, with Passenger (P) endorsement preferred
• Relatively clean driving reports and employment history
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service rules and regulations
• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Able to work effectively in a team setting
• Must attend in-person Onboarding in High Point, NC within 7 days of signing the contract
• This position is not a Company Driver or Owner/Operator role
