CDL Truck Driver

Fred Smith Company, a self-performing civil contractor from North Carolina, is eager to employ an experienced CDL Truck Driver in the Wilson/Greenville region. The selected candidate may be tasked with operating various types of trucks such as dump, flatbed, and water trucks. Pay is aligned with experience and employees become eligible for several benefits post 90-days of employment. Preference will be given to local applicants. Requirements:

Adherence to all company safety policies and proactive contribution to avoid incidents

In-depth knowledge necessary to efficiently operate equipment and follow management instructions

Meticulous attention to equipment monitoring, maintenance requirements, and maintaining DOT required logbooks

Ability for Lowboy positions to move, operate, and safely secure heavy construction equipment

Possession of a valid Class A or B CDL license, current medical examiners certificate and necessary endorsements pertinent to the position
