CDL A Driver

As a Class A CDL Driver at United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, you will have an opportunity to leave a significant impact by fulfilling our customers' Trench Safety needs. Your central tasks will include the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of equipment, thereby contributing to our company's notable success and exceptional growth. This regional job offers:

Drop off and pick up of equipment for customers.

Operating construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") in line with DOT classification CDL-A.

Maintaining driver's logs and completion of pre-trip inspections.

Suggestion of additional equipment and supplies customers may require.

Operating boom trucks and cranes as per manufacturer specifications.

Adherence to all safety requirements specific to equipment, encompassing Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Taking on other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.

Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.

Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Diligent attention to safety.

Please note: this position is deemed Safety Sensitive in accordance with United Rentals’ policies and procedures. The compensation range for this role is from $27.40 - $41.10.
