Local City Driver – Grand Prairie, Texas

In the position of a driver, your responsibilities would include transporting freight between company terminals and customer facilities within a defined geographical area. You'll be driving tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight, sorting, handling, loading and unloading freight, planning routes and schedules, conducting inspections, and serving as the first point of contact for delivery-related issues.

This regional job offers:

Driving tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight.

Sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight at various company and customer locations.

Planning routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Following established procedures for pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing.

Conducting inspections in line with safety and quality control procedures.

Retaining and maintaining records, forms, and load-related paperwork.

Serving as the first point of contact for delivery-related issues.

Requirements:

Class A commercial driver's license.

Safe motor vehicle report and applicable endorsements, including hazmat, tankers, doubles, and triples.

1+ years of tractor trailer driving experience.

Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.

Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
