Experienced Class A Owner Operator OTR – Chicago, Illinois

Chicago Freight Inc. is seeking to expand its fleet of OTR owner operator dry van drivers in the Chicagoland area. This contract position involves driving long distances to transport goods, providing essential services to our customers and ensuring timely deliveries. Ideal candidates will be responsible for managing their own equipment while enjoying the flexibility of both local and regional routes. This role offers competitive compensation and the potential for weekly home time depending on personal preferences.

• Contract employment
• Income averaging $3,500 - $5,000 weekly
• Generally Monday to Friday work schedule
• Local, regional, and OTR routes available
• No forced dispatch and no touch freight
• Company owned chassis and trailer

• Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience with an accident and violation free driving record preferred
• Must hold a minimum Class A CDL license with airbrakes endorsement
• Must maintain proper medical authorization to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Ability to read maps and follow written and verbal directions
• Must be physically able to climb in and out of the truck and truck bed multiple times per day
• Ability to manage Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure prompt and on-time pickups and deliveries
