Road Driver - CDL A - Tanker

This job opportunity is for a full-time Road Driver with Altom Transport, Inc., based in Pasadena, Texas. The chosen candidate will be responsible for safely operating tanker trucks to transport bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products across 49 states and Canada. The role involves loading and unloading materials using hoses and pumps while adhering to strict safety protocols. Drivers will be expected to conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate trip records, and communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.

• Valid CDL Class A License
• Tanker Endorsement (N) – Required
• Hazmat Endorsement (H) – Preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire; assistance available)
• TWIC Card – Preferred (or must obtain after hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience
• At least 23 years of age
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and strong safety record
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
• Dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations if needed
