Job Description

The Service Transport Company is looking for regional and over-the-road (OTR) drivers to load, transport, and deliver hazardous chemicals in a tractor trailer tanker while providing exceptional service to our customers. As a trusted expert in the timely transport of liquid bulk chemicals and dry bulk, we offer comprehensive training, competitive compensation, and attractive benefits. Our drivers enjoy regular home time and the opportunity to drive loads that are 300 miles or less. This position requires commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.

This regional job offers:

  • Local/regional routes that allow drivers to be home every night or every other night.
  • Routes comprising loads 300 miles or less.
  • Competitive compensation structure that includes an average pay of $75,000.00 per year with the additional opportunity for detention pay and a recent pay increase.
  • Various bonus structures including safety bonuses up to $1,000 per quarter and up to $50 for Level 1 DOT Inspection with no violations.
  • In-house tanker training and orientation with paid product line training.
  • Weekly Pay and Direct Deposit system.

  • Requirements:

  • Class A CDL with X Endorsement. Financial assistance available for qualified applicants.
  • Minimum age of 22.
  • No more than two moving violations in the last three years.
  • No preventable/chargeable accidents in the last three years.
  • At least one year of tanker tractor trailer or two years of tractor trailer experience within the last year.
  • Possession of a TWIC Card. Financial assistance available for qualified applicants.
  • Willingness to participate in first in, first out dispatch system and to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection devices.
  • Ability to maintain no facial hair.
  • Experience with E-logs (Peoplenet).
  • Understanding of driver’s role in handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials (loading, unloading, in transit, trouble shooting, etc.).
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction including timeliness and adherence to pre-trip/post-trip procedures.
  • Reliable personal transportation and a personal phone for immediate contact.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures, along with state and federal laws and regulations.
